Our topical review of developments will examine recent and forthcoming changes in employment law.
Employment status continues to be a hot topic, with further 'gig economy' court rulings and a Government discussion paper expected in the coming months. Businesses are due to publish their gender pay gap reports and new rules on taxing termination payments take effect in April; and a major revamp of the legal regime for data protection is due to come into force in May. It is anything but a quiet start to the year! Also, with a backdrop of Brexit, immigration and an increasing focus on compliance are hot topics. The courts are considering a number of interesting cases and the law is changing all the time. We will round up what you need to know.
Car parking is available at the nearby multi-storey “Whalebridge Car Park" between Princes Street and Islington Street. The entrance to the car park is off of Islington Street; for satnav users please use SN1 2NN.
Our Employment law programme is aimed mainly at HR managers and those with equivalent experience of dealing with workplace employment issues – but we’d be delighted to welcome you whatever your background or grounding in employment law.
