Leading film and TV lawyer Phil Rymer joins Lewis Silkin

City law firm Lewis Silkin LLP today announces the appointment of Phil Rymer as a partner in the Media, Brands & Technology (MBT) team. Phil joins the firm from serving as Principal of his own firm, Rymer Media Law, which he established in 2009.

With more than 20 years of experience in film and television law, Phil has worked extensively throughout the industry in both private practice and in-house positions across a variety of independently financed and major studio feature films (including “Billy Elliott”, “The Mummy” and most recently Ralph Fiennes’ “Coriolanus” and Dustin Hoffman’s “Quartet”) and television programmes. His previous roles include Director of Legal & Business Affairs at Icon Entertainment International, Managing Director of Ruby Films Limited, Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs at Intermedia Films and Partner at Marriott Harrison, among others.
