I am an associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward department having trained at the firm.
During my training contract I spent time on secondment, in the brands and IP team, the corporate team and employment team.
Prior to joining Lewis Silkin, I worked in-house for a trade association for the recruitment industry, gaining specialist knowledge of areas such as recruitment law and agency workers.
I advise mainly employer clients in a multitude of sectors on a wide variety of employment and HR matters, with particular specialisms in temporary workers, employment status issues and agency regulation. In addition to employment tribunals I also assist with other contentious work including High Court litigation for matters including enforcement of restrictive covenants, confidential information and bonus disputes.
Whilst at Lewis Silkin I have also spent time working in-house on secondment at an international technology firm, large hedge fund and high-street retailer. This work has included large redundancy exercises, outsourcing and discrimination claims.
Other work I do includes assisting individuals with settlement agreements.
I work closely with the litigation team and have experience in arbitrations, High Court litigation including injunctions and County Court matters.
I have particular experience in litigation involving partners and employees of law firms and financial services businesses with issues including high value discrimination claims and protecting confidential information.
