I am a Legal Trainer in our Employment, Immigration and Reward department.
Since joining Lewis Silkin in 2010 I have gained broad experience of advising HR professionals and in-house counsel across a variety of industry sectors. My clients are varied, with a focus on those within the professional and financial services sectors.
I have particular experience in conducting sensitive investigations for employers, and navigating the many issues that can arise. I am a member of our specialist investigations team and have carried out a number of investigations for high-profile clients in the financial services industry, charitable and entertainment sectors.
Day to day my work covers a full range of employment matters including discrimination in the workplace, redundancies, complex disciplinary and grievance issues and contractual rights. I also negotiate the terms of settlement agreements and review employment contracts and policies.
I am a member of the firm’s Professional Services sector group and frequently, but by no means exclusively, work for clients in this sector. This includes advising law firms on all aspects of employment law including performance management and complex grievance issues.
I have been seconded to the in-house teams of two major investment banks. I advise asset management and brokerage firms on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
