I advise multinationals on all aspects of employment law and workplace data protection.

I have been at Lewis Silkin since 2010 and since joining I have gained broad experience of advising HR professionals, in house counsel and senior management from UK and international businesses across a variety of industry sectors. This includes multinational tech companies including those headquarted in the US as well as some of the world’s leading advertising agencies.

I have particular experience in resolving tricky employee relations issues, advising on maternity and family related matters and handling employment tribunal litigation. I also advise on restructurings and redundancies as well as the drafting of employee contracts and handbooks. My practice is international in scope, supporting companies headquartered in the UK and US on their international employment law needs. I also advise on matters relating to employee tax and incentives.

Advertising & Marketing

Many of my clients are in the advertising and marketing sector. I regularly advise on the employment issues arising out of agency agreements and on contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including collective redundancies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, changing terms and conditions and defending Employment Tribunal litigation.

Data Protection

As a specialist in the workplace privacy aspects of employment law, I frequently advise on the full range of workplace data protection issues. This includes conducting data protection audits, advising on data subject access requests and drafting privacy notices and policies. I regularly provide training on employment privacy issues both at clients offices and at conferences and events.

My work in the tech sector includes advising multinationals on litigation (including that which involves senior employees) and supporting on global projects, working alongside colleagues in the Ius Laboris alliance. I work closely with a number of start-ups and help to guide them from small beginnings as they grow into larger businesses.
