I am a senior IP lawyer in Lewis Silkin’s Trade Marks and IP Portfolio management practice, with both private practice and in-house experience.
I joined Lewis Silkin in 2018 and am dual qualified as a solicitor and chartered trade mark attorney. Having qualified and practiced at a magic circle firm, I then went in-house, first to GlaxoSmithKline and then to Shell. In both companies held senior management roles, including head of trade marks, and also had global responsibility for managing teams handling various international trade mark portfolios. I then ran a start-up IP consultancy, where I worked in and for law firms and international brand owners, before returning full time to private practice in 2016 as partner in another London law firm.
Trade marks & portfolio management
I carry out the full range of trade mark portfolio management work including strategy advice, clearance, registration and dispute resolution. I have considerable experience in managing international and multi-jurisdictional matters, and advise how to maximize the impact of a brand owner’s IP budget.
I have advised a wide range of clients from small start ups to international FTSE 100 brand owning companies, across a range of industries including healthcare, pharma, FMCG, financial services, entertainment, tech, hospitality and media, greatly enjoying getting to know and to understand the underlying businesses.
