Tarun's expertise

 Employment

In addition to providing general advice (including reviewing contracts and policies, dealing with grievances and disciplinaries and responding to tribunal claims). I have a particular interest and specialism in collective employment law and High Court litigation.

I regularly advise clients on their industrial relations strategy and am an expert in this area, from dealing with union recognition requests to minimising the impact of industrial action and picketing.  I have recently obtained an injunction preventing a union from calling strike action and successfully defended clients against multiple claims brought by unions on behalf of their members.

I also advise clients on cases of employee competition (including team moves) and misuse of confidential information.  Recently I have successfully obtained High Court injunctions for springboard relief, to recover confidential information and to prevent unlawful competition.

My client base is varied across industries and sectors, and includes the financial services sector. I gained a valuable insight and deep industry understanding of the financial services sector from secondments to international investment banks.
