Immigration Paralegal
Due to maternity leave a vacancy has arisen for a paralegal to provide support to our Immigration team. The job will be offered initially on a fixed term contract of up to 12 months, however, subject to business growth, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent in due course.
You will support the team in both a fee-earning, knowledge management and marketing capacity. Fee-earning activities will include assisting with and completing applications for the right to work in the UK, checking that residence requirements are met and liaising with the UK Border Agency to clarify and verify their requirements. You will also attend meetings with clients regarding their applications and assist with general administration such as maintaining and updating our application tracker systems.
Other key responsibilities will include updating the immigration sections of our intranet and library, participating in marketing initiatives and assisting with the preparation of seminar/training materials. Candidates will need strong IT, practical and analytical skills and be able to work with a fast-paced, friendly team. Legal experience or qualifications are essential and previous immigration experience would be a distinct advantage.

Legal Cashier, Finance department
We are looking for a Legal Cashier to join our Finance department. Reporting to the Head Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for a wide variety of duties relating to both client and office accounts.
With extensive cashiering experience within a law firm and experience of practice management systems, preferably Elite 3e, you will have strong communication skills, with an ability to communicate with partners and staff at all levels. In addition, your excellent organisational skills will help to ensure the smooth running of our processes.

Corporate Tax Associate (2-5 years' PQE)
We are looking for a tax specialist to join our corporate tax team. Working alongside the tax partners, you will be involved in a wide range of corporate tax related matters, including mergers & acquisitions; debt structuring; transfer pricing, VAT issues and private equity investments. You will also be involved in tax matters relating to share options.
Along with excellent academics, you will have first class communication and client handling skills.
