Following the successful launch last year of Lewis Silkin’s Brand Academy the date has been set for this year’s event: Thursday 13 October 2011.
Lewis Silkin’s market leading experts will explain and explore the legal challenges that fictional client and brand owner ‘Blue Cow’ faces as it looks to promote and market its soft drink through a variety of channels, including traditional and new media.
Registration will be from 8:45am. Brand Academy will start at 9:15am and finish at 13:00pm. Lunch will be from 13:00pm until 15:00pm. The full schedule is below.
Brand Academy will be held at the Imagination Gallery. You can view a map here, and the full address is:
The Imagination Gallery,
25 Store Street
Off Tottenham Court Road
London WC1E 7BL
Brand Academy will also be CPD accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The reference for the three CPD points is DHP/LESI.
This year we are taking a slightly different approach to Brand Academy. You will still learn about key legal developments affecting the creation, management and exploitation of brands, but with the benefit of a case study based on the experience of Lewis Silkin's experts.
We will be following the story of Blue Cow PLC, a fictitious UK based drinks manufacturer selling their fizzy drink via a global distribution network.
