There is plenty to discuss in our regular round-up of the latest developments in employment law.

We already have new rules on calculation of holiday entitlement and pay, and some unexpected changes to discrimination rights under the Equality Act. From April, extended redundancy protection during family-related leave comes into force, as does the right to carer’s leave and new rules on flexible working. We also now have more detail on various rights due to come in later, including the new duty to prevent sexual harassment. Significant recent cases include rulings on holiday pay, worker status and the requirements for a fair redundancy consultation.

Join us for an update on all these developments together with any other up-to-the-minute news.
