I help other lawyers on a wide range of employment work issues. Our team does a lot of work for the broadcast media industry which I enjoy, particularly as I am currently doing a part-time secondment in the HR department of a well-known theatre company. I also have an interest in the law on family-related workplace rights.
I often work on international employment law related projects. Recently I helped to co-ordinate a large multi-jurisdictional project for a global company trying to ensure compliance with local laws and requirements worldwide. I also help with the organisation of Lewis Silkin’s EMEA Club events, for HR and employment lawyers with international responsibilities including, for example, a recent discussion forum on cross-border redundancies.
