I support clients on whatever issues arise in the workplace. This can range from negotiating contracts to defending high-value and hard-fought claims in the Employment Tribunal. I am particularly interested in High Court litigation and frequently advise on restrictive covenants and team moves. I recently obtained an injunction for a brokerage firm, and continue to work closely with the client to secure potential recruits on the best possible terms and to protect the business from external threats. In the financial services sector, allegations of discrimination of all varieties are a common feature of the claims we defend.
Many of the employment law issues with which the firm grapples on a daily basis have an international aspect, and this is reflected in my typical workload. For example, I have supported a number of clients through global restructuring exercises.
