I advise on all aspects of the Points Based System. I assist UK-based employers with sponsorship licence applications. I am currently assisting a UK subsidiary of a global investment firm in obtaining a sponsorship licence. In particular, I handle applications under Tiers 2 and 5. I have recently obtained a number of visas for new hires as well as intra company transferees. I also advise high-value migrants on Tier 1 applications.
My work includes helping clients to develop and maintain HR processes to comply with UK Border Agency requirements. Recently, I undertook a full audit for a large company on their compliance with Prevention of Illegal Working Regulations.
Settlement and British citizenship applications comprise another large share of my work; I often handle complex and unusual applications. I also help companies move staff across the world, drawing on the immigration team’s international network of immigration advisors. For example, I recently helped a global IT firm transfer staff to China and Brazil. I also have particular expertise in sending employees to Russia.
