I advise on all aspects of employment law, including working with clients on contractual issues and HR policies, tribunal claims, managing long-term sickness issues and redundancies. Recently, I have assisted clients with defending employment tribunal claims involving allegations of discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal. I also assist global companies with their employment law issues. For example, I recently worked with a client on a multi-jurisdictional transfer of services and a roll-out of new policies across Europe.
My clients are mostly in the retail, catering, hospitality and financial services sector and I spent six months on secondment to the in-house employment team of a major international investment bank. I also have a particular interest in the privacy aspects of employment law, such as data protection.
