I am the joint head of Lewis Silkin’s specialist reward practice. My work includes drafting and implementing cash bonus schemes, approved and unapproved share plans including Enterprise Management Incentives, employee benefit trusts and advising financial services firms on Remuneration Code issues. Recent projects include: implementing a Share Incentive Plan for a UK subsidiary of a listed US parent; implementing a bonus deferral scheme using an employee benefit trust for a UK branch of an international bank; and advising a UK subsidiary of an international bank on the implications of the Remuneration Code on their guaranteed incentive and buy out bonuses.
