Industrial action, actual or threatened, has had a high media profile over the past year. In the face of looming spending cuts affecting both public and private sector workers, trade unions have been warning of further unrest. This session will look at how to avoid unnecessary disputes and what to do when a strike or other action is on the cards. On a more positive note, we’ll look at how best to manage working with unions and establish effective dialogue and negotiation.
