Lewis Silkin LLP has today announced the appointment of Guilherme Brafman as a Partner in its Corporate team. Guilherme has for the last 10 years been a partner in, and was founder of, the London office of Kaye Scholer where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and corporate and commercial matters as well as employment related matters and related dispute resolution. Guilherme’s industry expertise covers the advertising, marketing, merchandising, branding, IT, technology, media and financial services sectors.
Guilherme is an experienced corporate lawyer with a proven track record in advising businesses and business owners at every stage of the corporate life cycle. He is a well known and highly regarded practitioner in the advertising and creative communications sector which is a key sector for Lewis Silkin LLPand has extensive experience advising US multinationals as well as businesses in the UK, EU and Brazil.
Prior to joining Kaye Scholer, Guilherme was a senior equity partner at CMS Cameron McKenna from 1989 to 2001. He is recognised as a leading lawyer by Chambers for his work in advertising and marketing and in Legal Experts as an expert in Brand Management.
