Lewis Silkin has advised the AIM-quoted media and marketing analytics company, Ebiquity plc, in its £17.9m acquisition of international advertising and media intelligence group, Xtreme Information Services Ltd.
At the same time Lewis Silkin also advised Ebiquity in its plans to acquire media monitoring company TMC (Thomson Media Control GmbH KG) in Germany, in which the company already holds a 50% interest.
Ebiquity is a leading media and marketing monitoring and analytics provider and its acquisition of Xtreme Information Services Ltd, which is a leader in international advertising monitoring with a footprint in over 60 countries, will greatly enhance the company’s international client offering. Through the acquisition of the remaining 50% stake in TMC, Ebiquity has also augmented its share in the German advertising monitoring market.
The Lewis Silkin team comprised of corporate partners James Nwankwo, Philip Lamb and Roger Alexander, together with a further six of the firm’s associates.
Commenting on the acquisition, James Nwankwo said:
“We have very much enjoyed facilitating the acquisition and being part of the subsequent augmentation of Ebiquity’s excellent client offering. The work that they do becomes increasingly popular and relevant and we look forward to our continued work with Ebiquity.”
