On a typical day I might draft board minutes and other documents in relation to a merger or acquisition, or I might draft a shareholders agreement between the owners of a new start up.
Before this my seats were mainly contentious, first in Litigation and then in Employment. Both of these provided excellent opportunities to attend hearings. In my litigation seat this meant a day in the Court of Appeal and in my Employment seat I was able to attend a number of Employment Tribunals, the longest of which lasted three weeks.
