My duties are varied. On a typical day, I might be dealing with post-completion matters, such as SDLT return to HMRC or registration at Land Registry, or handling client correspondence for staircasing cases for one of our main RSLs. I also get involved in conveyancing work, such as carrying out searches, raising enquiries, amending draft contracts, drafting Report on Title or other documents. My other duties include carrying out research for fee earners and carrying out client due diligence for new client/matter to comply with our firm’s AML policy.
