I advise agencies, brand and content owners on their advertising, marketing and management of content: from clearing ads, to advising on international promotions, through to negotiating agreements to exploit content.

Areas of Expertise

Some specifics

I advise marketing communications agencies and brand and content owners on their day to day commercial risk management. This includes negotiating a range of agreements within the sector as well as advising on the content of marketing campaigns. On any given day I might be clearing a script for a TV commercial, negotiating an agreement between an agency and its client, helping a client defend a complaint from the ASA and advising on copyright and trade mark law. A particular niche is new media advertising and branded content.

I'm human too...

Outside of work, I spend most of my time singing nursery rhymes, changing nappies and generally running around after my twins, Zac and Oliver. Once upon a time, I spent my spare time scuba diving and trekking, but these days I'm happiest when I've had a decent night's sleep.
