In addition to hands-on work for a number of those clients and managing several client teams, as head of the department I try to keep our happy and motivated team fed with enjoyable work within a supportive environment.
Major recent projects include acting for Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Laufenburg AG and Commoditrade Inc. in the acquisition of new London trading facilities as well as acting for the Annington Group of companies on development acquisitions and planning and funding instructions for sites in London and the Home Counties.
As long-standing property adviser to the Rio Tinto Group, I advised the group on its acquisition of a 107,000 sq ft new build in Paddington for its shared resources facility as well as the lease of their new corporate office, 1,450 m sq on the 12th floor of the new landmark development at 5 Aldermanbury Square, London. I have also advised major subsidiary Borax on the disposal of its former head office in Guildford.
Advising the Firoka Group on its prospective redevelopment of Grade II listed Alexandra Palace.
In addition to the above, I advise Agilent Technologies, News International and Electronic Arts.
