I originally joined Lewis Silkin in May 2000 working on a broad range of employment law issues as well as establishing the firm's Sports Law Group.
In December 2005 I left the firm to set up and manage Saatchi & Saatch's global sports marketing agency E sportif, returning to the firm in 2008.
I advise both large employers and senior executives on mainly contentious employment law issues.
My sports practice covers top level international clubs, governing bodies and athletes across sports such as rugby, football, golf and cricket. I specialise in dispute resolution and regularly represent sports client in high profile hearings
I have a BA in Political Studies, an LLB and an LLM (first).
I am qualified as a solicitor in both New Zealand and England.
I am a New Zealander, married to an English lass and we have a young son Tom. I regard myself as still on an extended holiday to the UK. Home is the south coast of New Zealand. My weekends are mainly spent exploring the Surrey countryside with Tom and Elizabeth and a quest for sandy beaches along the south coast.
