Rachel Francis-Lang 
I advise on all areas of commercial property acting predominantly for occupiers and developers. I have a particular focus on looking after corporate occupiers and project managing the delivery of legal services in relation to large global property portfolios across multiple jurisdictions as well as handling international leisure developments.

Recent examples of work
Recent projects include:-
  • -          the acquisition of headquarter premises on a pre-let basis for a large corporate occupier involving options to take further space
  • -          acting for a local authority in relation to a mixed use development and PFI project involving the construction of a new library, two street, a public square, retail and residential mixed use blocks, social housing and hotel
  • -          project managing the transactional work in relation to the real estate portfolios of a number of large global corporate occupiers on a global and pan-European basis
  • -          acquisition of a green field site for development as a business park involving overage provisions and options to acquire further land and advising on related management documentation
  • -          acting on behalf of a large global technology company in the construction and operation of a cyclotron facility within a hospital campus
  • -          acting for a private developer in relation to the development and onward sale of a leisure complex outside the UK comprising golf course, hotel, fitness centre and luxury villas.

I'm human too...
My main interests are food, films, music (piano, violin, oboe and drums – although not all at the same time) and (sadly) I am interested in building design and am probably a frustrated property developer!
