I specialise in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property (including trade marks, copyright, patents, designs and confidential information). I have dealt with disputes in the County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and the European Court of Justice and have on many occasions applied for interim injunctive relief. I have extensive experience of developing and implementing internet enforcement programmes to protect clients’ brands on the internet. I also specialise in information technology disputes including pre-termination strategies and arbitration. I have frequently been involved in Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings (including mediation).
Many of the clients for whom I acts operate in the media, retail, manufacturing, financial and technology sectors.
I lecture and writes extensively on intellectual property and information technology issues and am the author of the UK Chapter of “Survey Evidence and the Law Worldwide” (published by Lexis Nexis).
