Some specifics
Before university I taught English in rural China followed by a brief stint as an Account Executive in an advertising agency in Central London. I went on to study English Literature at Queen Mary, University of London and then spent a fascinating year as President of the Students’ Union. I converted to law in 2005, promptly followed by a year out to travel the world, get married and study random subjects such as journalism, acting, massage therapy and dress-making.
Recent examples of work
My work in the Media, Brands and Technology department consists mostly of assisting clients in putting together agency agreements, confidentiality agreements and confirmatory assignments of intellectual property rights. I also get involved in assisting clients with contentious matters such as disputes over ownership of brands and defamation issues. I work for a broad range of clients, mostly in the advertising sector, and really enjoy the work I do.

I'm human too...
I like climbing big mountains (Kilimanjaro being my highest) and running half marathons and other physically challenging activities. I cycle to work and am an out-of-practice rower. I am a keen traveller, having covered 40+ countries so far, and intend to cover many more. I love all performing arts (performing and watching them) and filling my head full of interesting stuff. I also love red wine, steak and all things Argentinean.
