Recent examples of work
I have recently acted for (and against) a number of brand owners regarding the (un)authorised use of their trade marks and other intellectual property; a publisher concerning misuse of confidential information; a broadcaster in dispute with a former member of staff over the unauthorised disclosure of confidential information; advertising agencies in dispute with corporate suppliers / individuals contracted to provide services to them; and several individuals in respect of defamatory material published in the UK both in the national press and in online articles.

Qualifications and other experience
I graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth with an LLB in 1999 and attended the College of Law, Chester in 1999/2000. Following a round the world trip I trained and qualified at a law firm in the West End specialising in media and entertainment law. During my 5 years there I spent more than 6 months on secondment acting as sole in-house legal counsel to several group companies operating under a well-known global brand. I joined Lewis Silkin as an Associate in October 2006.

I enjoy travelling and most individual and team sports, particularly snowboarding and football.
