A typical day sees me: - Having telephone conference calls; - Writing letters of advice; - Giving email advice; and - Negotiating with other lawyers around the world.
Media relations and public speaking
I write articles for trade and HR publications on a wide range of subjects, and speak at conferences and client seminars.
Recent examples of work
- Advising on a large scale restructuring for a large media group; - Advising on an injunction in London and California (in conjunction with our US law firm partner); - Negotiating the removal of the CEO of a technology company; and - Defending injunctions against the CEOs of two global marketing services companies.

I'm human too...
I travel as much as I can with my wife and daughter. Sampling as much local food and drink as possible during my trips. And spreading the word that Aston Villa is the world’s greatest football team. To widespread bewilderment. No doubt due to my fledgling Spanish, which I have spent shameful amounts of time failing to learn.
