Regeneration is about more than just physical redevelopment. It's about the social and economic transformation of declining areas by providing housing, health, educational, leisure, infrastructure, transport and commercial facilities. Following Lord Rogers' seminal report 'Towards an Urban Renaissance', this all round view of regeneration has informed government policy, which, in turn, is changing the way the industry works. Commercial developers are building houses, including affordable housing, and vice versa.

Our work includes advising various consortia on the £1.5bn regeneration of Elephant & Castle; Meridian Delta (the Quintain and Lend Lease joint venture) on an important element of the £5bn regeneration scheme on the Greenwich Peninsula; and the London Borough of Sutton on the regeneration of the Durand estate.
