I have overall responsibility for the strategy of the firm and its range of business activities. As a member of the firm's strategy and operations boards I have direct involvement in shaping the firm's long term direction and in implementing the programme of projects required to deliver that strategy.
Working closely with senior colleagues leading our finance, operations, marketing and people management functions I am involved in all major change initiatives within the firm including the development and introduction of new products and services. I sit on consultative groups across the firm and aim to promote a high level of engagement throughout our business.
Brands & Intellectual Property
Although most of my time is spent on my role as Chief Executive of the firm I continue to advise clients on intellectual property and contractual disputes, particularly clients in the Creative Industries sector. Over the years I have very much enjoyed working with clients in that sector, a practice which has given rise to fascinating disputes around computer games, apps, typefaces, soft toys, rap music, digital mapping, broadcasting rights, high fashion, low fashion and artists in every sense.
