Creative Industries CouncilWe are one of two commercial partners with the Creative Industries Council (CIC). The CIC is a joint forum between the creative industries and government. The role of the group is to be a voice for the creative industries and promote the value of the sectors – advertising, architecture, arts & culture, craft, design, fashion, games, music, publishing, tech, TV & film – to the UK economy as well as showcasing what the UK can offer to the internationally. Council members are leading figureheads drawn from each of the creative sectors including government representatives such as DCMS and DIT, industry bodies such as RIBA, BFI, British Fashion Council, CIM, PACT, IPA and major corporates such as Facebook (Nicola Mendelsohn, VP for EMEA is co-Chair of the CIC) and BBC.
