We are delighted to invite you to our Brand Academy event brought to you by our top-tier Brand Management practice.
This year's panel will dissect a fictitious scenario dealing with the infringement of intellectual property rights across Europe, in order to discuss how a company may pursue claims within various jurisdictions. The discussion will cover tactics, remedies and the costs of litigating in England & Wales, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain, as well as what pan-European relief is available. We will also consider how Brexit may affect this.
We are pleased to announce that Caroline Bouvier (France), Ignacio Temiño Ceniceros (Spain) and Søren Pietzcker (Germany) will be considering our fictitious scenario and taking us through how they would approach the IP infringement within each of their respective jurisdictions.
- Caroline Bouvier is an IP/IT Partner of the French law firm Bernard-Hertz-Béjot, in Paris.
Caroline assists clients in the fields of copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, software, contracts, e-commerce, unfair competition, new technologies and licenses. She also advises clients from the inception to the completion of their advertising and marketing campaigns in France.
- Ignacio Temiño Ceniceros is an Intellectual Property Law attorney of the Spanish firm Abril Abogados in Madrid.
Ignacio has extensive experience in Intellectual Property Law, especially in prosecution and litigation matters in Patent and Trademark Law, and also in Copyright (contractual and litigation). - Dr. Søren Pietzcker is in charge of the intellectual property and advertising law department at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg, Germany.
