It may be a new year but there is no let-up in the developments in the data and privacy world. Join us for our first In-House Data Club of the year on 8 February at 9.30 am where we will discuss:

  • The eye-watering fines handed out by the CNIL to Facebook and Google – will “reject all” buttons on cookie banners become the norm?
  • The Austrian DPA decision on Google Analytics – the first of noyb’s 101 filed cases to be decided – what are the implications?
  • The CNIL guidance on processor reuse of personal data – is there finally an answer for when a processor can use personal data it obtains from a controller for purposes broader than just strictly providing services to the controller?
To whet your appetite, why not read Bryony Long, Alex Milner-Smith and Lee Ramsay’s article on the Austrian DPA decision and Alice Graham’s thoughts on the CNIL cookie fines, and if you have any specific questions you would like us to answer do send us an email to events@lewissilkin.com.

Finally to register for the webinar please click here.

We look forward to seeing you (virtually) on 8 February!
