The CCPA came into force on 1 January 2020 and the last 12 months have seen a lot of developments. The CPRA is coming into force on 1 January 2023 and is a further step forward from the CCPA (including expanding data rights and the creation of the California Privacy Protection Agency).

Following on from his successful session in January 2020, Lewis Silkin LLP are delighted to welcome back the “very accomplished and expert” (Legal 500 2020) Gary Kibel of US firm Davis & Gilbert LLP who will take us through:

  • (1) the material changes and actions related to the CCPA over the last 12 months; and
  • (2) the complexities of the CPRA including what the new law says, how it will work, and crucially what do you as a business need to do now?

This session will be on 23 February 2021 at 3.00 to 4.00pm GMT and will take place via WebEx. A link to join the meeting can be found in the calendar appointment on completion of registration and will also be sent in advance of the session.

If you have any queries, or a colleague who would like to attend, please contact events@lewissilkin.com.
