About

I am an Associate in the Employment team at Lewis Silkin, advising employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

I joined the firm in August 2022 as a paralegal within the Employment team. Since then, I have completed my training contract, undertaking seats in Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property Disputes and Employment, before qualifying into the team.

Beyond my core practice, I have taken an active role in the firm's Social Mobility group, where I help to organise our external Embracing Social Mobility events. I have also assisted in running the firm's pro bono employment clinic and am a keen member of the Gender group.

I graduated from the University of Reading in 2020 with an LLB in Law. I subsequently completed my LPC part-time at The University of Law whilst working as a paralegal, achieving a distinction.

  • Advising employers in Employment Tribunal claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing
  • Advising and providing training on day-to-day HR issues including disciplinaries and grievances, flexible working, performance management and sickness absence
  • Advising on redundancy processes
  • Advising on national minimum wage issues
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional employment advice in collaboration with Ius Laboris colleagues
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, handbooks and policies

Investigations

  • Assisting with complex, sensitive investigations with large numbers of witnesses, into allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination, whistleblowing, bullying and harassment
