I am a Trainee Solicitor at Lewis Silkin in our Dispute Resolution team.
Prior to commencing my training contract, I obtained several years' paralegal experience, most recently having worked for BT Group's in-house employment litigation team where I ran cases under supervision (including drafting Responses and Witness Statements) and conducted some small-scale advocacy. I have also worked at a small start-up law firm which later merged with Harrison Clark Rickerbys, whereby I was heavily involved in tasks such as advising clients on contracts, handbooks and policies and drafting the same. I also undertook research tasks for the Business Immigration side of the business.
I completed my LLB Law Degree at the University of Leeds, achieving extra credits in Chinese language and economics following completion of a summer school placement in Wuhan, and completed my LPC with the University of Law. I achieved a Distinction in my LPC overall and specifically in my three electives: Intellectual Property, Commercial Dispute Resolution and Employment.
