I am a Trainee at the firm, having previously been a paralegal supporting the Immigration Team.

As part of the Immigration Team I have assisted with all areas of immigration law, with a particular focus on the sport sector. I have an in-depth knowledge of applying for International Sportsperson visas for both Players and Coaches. I also assisted with and have in-depth knowledge of the Skilled Worker visa route, PBS Dependant visa route, Global Talent visa route and Global Business Mobility visa route. I understand the complexities of immigration law and know how important it is to have fast results and a deep knowledge of the visa routes. The visa process can be very stressful and time sensitive and I understand how important it is for individuals and employers to have a reliable and knowledgeable person at hand to help guide them through the process, with minimal fuss.

Experience

Appendix FM and Family Visas

I've developed hands-on experience assisting with UK visa applications under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules. This area of law is deeply personal, often involving families seeking to reunite or remain together in the UK. I've worked closely with clients navigating partner and parent routes, helping them present their cases with clarity, compassion, and precision.

  • Assessing eligibility and gathering evidence of genuine relationships
  • Drafting detailed representations that address complex circumstances
  • I've also guided clients through the financial requirements and suitability criteria, ensuring their submissions meet the relevant criteria

Sports immigration

  • Assisting with the applications for the family members of both Players and Coaches who have come to work in the UK
  • Assisting Players privately with visit visa applications for their extended family
  • Assisting Clubs with their sponsor licence compliance duties and with applying for a sponsor licence, the transfer of Players from one licence to another, and ensuring their licence remains up to date

Skilled Worker visa

  • Applying for the Skilled Worker visa including documentary requirements, timelines and relevant considerations for both the UK employer and the individual who will be applying for sponsorship
  • Advising on applications for family members of Skilled Workers including documentary requirements, timelines and relevant considerations

Global talent

  • Applying for endorsements from Tech Nation and PACT including documentary requirements and advising on the relevant application process
  • Applying for the Global Talent visa for applicants and family members, following successful endorsement by the relevant body
