I am a senior employment lawyer based in the Dublin office of Lewis Silkin Ireland. I have significant experience supporting and assisting domestic and multinational clients navigate the complex and evolving regulatory landscape of employment law.

I provide clear, actionable advice to Legal, Privacy and People teams across client organisations - ensuring compliance while enabling innovation and growth.

I focus on assessing legal risks from a practical perspective while identifying viable, business-driven solutions for each client.

Experience

Employment

  • Advising employers and employees on all aspects of employment, industrial relations and health and safety law.
  • Providing employment advice to a wide range of clients including senior executives, start-ups, public bodies and large domestic and multinational organisations. These clients represent a wide variety of industries including life sciences, aviation, technology, retail, utilities, financial services and project management.
  • Advising People and Legal Teams on broad range of issues including recruitment, performance and management processes, health and safety, whistleblowing, bullying and harassment, protective leave, equality, redundancies, employee data protection/privacy issues and termination of the employment contract.
  • Representing clients in employment-related litigation before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court.
  • Advising on the defence of Circuit Court and High Court proceedings in relation to employment disputes.
  • Providing client training on all aspects of employment law, the employment relationship and handling employee disputes.
  • I am a member of the Employment Law Association of Ireland (ELAI) and the Employment Lawyers' Association (ELA).
  • I am a lecturer for the Law Society of Ireland's Employment Law Diploma for over 10 years.
