At Lewis Silkin we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact, so instead of printing and posting Christmas cards every year, we email virtual cards and plant trees.
We have committed to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions in our value chain by no later than 2050, in line with the Science-Based Target Initiative’s Net-Zero Standard.
Since Christmas 2021 we have partnered with the charity Hometree:
- Trees planted for Christmas 2021: 1,100
- Trees planted for Christmas 2022: 1,800
- Trees planted for Christmas 2023: 1,800
- Trees planted for Christmas 2024: 2,000
- Trees to be planted for Christmas 2025: 2,200
Hometree works to establish and conserve permanent native woodland on the west coast of Ireland.
