The £3M project, funded entirely by UIC which designs and builds next generation telecommunication hubs, will help people stay connected - and even save lives. Lewis Silkin supported UIC with a variety of commercial, corporate, IP, planning and data privacy related advice.

The Lewis Silkin team was led by Senior Associate, Alan Hunt (Commercial), with support from Gavin McNaughton (Corporate), Ali Vaziri (Data & Privacy), Steven Jennings (Trade marks), Jackie Mullen (Trade marks) and Francesca Mack (Commercial).

Alan Hunt, Senior Associate at Lewis Silkin said:

“We were delighted to be able to work on this ground-breaking project with UIC. This is a really exciting time for the ‘Smart City’ sector as we witness the rise of smart street furniture and smart outdoor advertising in our communities. We are excited to see where the Pulse Smart Hubs will appear next. This is yet another example of how Lewis Silkin is consistently at the forefront of advising clients in our digital-led world as they deliver innovative and complex technologies.”
