Lewis Silkin’s employment litigation team shortlisted for award at Legal Week Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Awards

Lewis Silkin is delighted to announce that its market leading employment litigation team led by Toni Lorenzo and Michael Anderson has been shortlisted for Employment, Pensions and Incentives Litigation Team of the Year at the Legal Week Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Awards.
The Legal Week Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Awards are a showcase for the most innovative and challenging cases being heard in the UK. They reflect London’s status as one of the leading dispute resolution centres in the world by underlining the depth of talent in the market.
The nomination relates to Lewis Silkin’s involvement in Forse and others v Secarma Ltd and others, an employee competition team move case. The team acted successfully for Secarma, a cybersecurity technology company, in the Court of Appeal in resisting a challenge to the appropriateness and scope of a springboard injunction granted at first instance by the High Court against a number of Secarma’s former employees. This is now the leading authority on the tests applicable to springboard injunctions.
The awards ceremony takes place on 5 November 2019.
