This report by UNC reveals that by 2014, 36% of the US workforce will be comprised of millennials and by 2020, nearly half (46%) of all US workers will be part of this generation. The research highlights that millennials are unlike preceding generations - they view the world differently and have redefined the meaning success, personally and professionally. In some cases, this has led to misunderstanding among the different generations co-existing in today's workplace. The paper examines the positive characteristics millennials bring to an organisation and explores what this generation feels is important in a job and what they expect from their employer.
