In this report, we explore the effects of global ageing population trends on the workplace and examine government and employer measures that have been implemented across a range of countries to address the reality of an ageing workforce.
We suggest that as state retirement policies continue to evolve to encourage longer working lives, employers may need to rethink recruitment and retention strategies in response. Moreover, the importance of workplace policies on health, re-skilling, flexibility, family leave, menopause, diversity and inclusion, mentoring and pensions are all likely to grow.
