I am an Associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward division at Lewis Silkin. I advise both employers and employees on a range of employment law matters.
My advisory work typically includes assisting clients with day-to-day employment queries; supporting them in dealing with dismissals, disciplinaries, grievances and investigations; reviewing and preparing contracts and policies; advising on redundancy exercises and TUPE transfers; and negotiating employee exits. In addition, I advise senior individuals in relation to all aspects of their employment including negotiation of departure terms.
I also deal with contentious matters on behalf of both employers and individuals. I have experience with Employment Tribunal litigation (including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing) and breaches of restrictive covenants and confidentiality in the High Court.
As a member of our Investigations and Regulatory group, I have experience of carrying out investigations and producing clear reports of the findings. I have worked on a range of sensitive and complex investigations for both domestic and international companies across various sectors including financial services and retail. I have experience of investigating issues such as allegations of misconduct and discrimination as well as wider cultural themes.
