As a rockhopper lawyer, I am on call, by telephone and email, to advise employers from a variety of sectors on whatever HR or employee relations issues they need assistance with.
We deal with queries on all topics, including grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence, family friendly provisions, performance management and TUPE. We also assist our clients in defending Employment Tribunal claims and dealing with data subject access requests, contract and handbook reviews.
I was called to the Bar then qualified as a solicitor. Prior to joining rockhopper, I worked at a leading London firm for 6 years before joining EEF, the manufacturers’ organization, a trade association to get a different perspective, to the traditional legal practice. I gained experience advising, training and representing companies in tribunal predominantly in the manufacturing sector, working in a large national team of lawyers. I am well versed in the full spectrum of employment legal issues, including re-organisations, TUPE, discrimination, disciplinary and grievance and, whistle-blowing.
