I am a Data & Privacy Analyst in Lewis Silkin’s Data, Privacy & Cyber Group. Prior to joining Lewis Silkin, I have gained over two years of experience in ensuring compliance to legal and regulatory obligations associated with data processing activities in-house. I have a particular interest in the growing area of data within the games industry.
Examples of my recent work include:
- advising a high-profile tech company with an international regulatory investigation;
- providing large multinational organisations with advice on the data protection aspects of international data transfer issues and the potential impact of Brexit;
- supporting and advising companies with data incident response procedures; and
- several companies, across a range of industries, on their approach to cookie compliance.
I am a volunteer call handler for the Strut Safe initiative, an organisation founded as part of dismantling the systemic violence against women and other marginalised groups by helping anyone who feels unsafe walking in public.
I am also part of the St. Albans Reading Scheme, in which volunteer “buddies” from Lewis Silkin partner with a child from the St Albans school to develop their reading skills.
I am additionally a member of the BPP Film Law Society and produce articles on film law news.
