I am a Senior Employment Lawyer with over 10 years’ experience. I split my time between client secondments and rockhopper’s award-winning HR/ employment helpline.
During secondments and on the helpline we deal with queries on all topics, including grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence, family friendly provisions, performance management, redundancies and TUPE. We also assist our clients in defending Employment Tribunal claims and dealing with data subject access requests, contract and handbook reviews.
I have considerable experience in managing employment tribunal litigation, having dealt with claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination (including disability, sex, age, race, gender reassignment and sexual orientation discrimination), holiday pay, unauthorised deduction from wages, breach of contract and whistleblowing.
I have a particular interest in workplace mediation and am an accredited mediator. I have acted as mediator in a number of successful mediations for a variety of clients.
