I joined Lewis Silkin as a paralegal in September 2019 in the Employment, Immigration and Reward division.

I joined the firm shortly after graduating from the University of Exeter with a First Class Bachelor of Honours Degree in Law. Prior to Lewis Silkin I had enlisted in the Army Reserves, interned at a multinational law firm in Dubai, and interned at one of the largest UK and European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney firms.

Outside of work I enjoy cooking, keeping fit and playing the guitar. I also enjoy travelling, learning new languages and cultures. I lived eight years in Brazil, where my family now reside as well as Spain for four months in 2013 on a language exchange programme.

Employment

As part of my role I assist partners and fee-earners on employment matters. This involves liaising with other Ius Laboris firms across multiple jurisdictions in order to coordinate international projects. My primary tasks include assisting with billing arrangements and presenting these to clients, liaising with local counsel across the Asia Pacific region and the EMEA region to answer quick queries and managing an international helpdesk. I also provide assistance by way of conducting legal research, reviewing legal documents and preparing trial bundles.
