I am an Associate in the Digital, Commerce and Creative team at Lewis Silkin, having trained and qualified with the firm in 2025. I advise brands and businesses across the media, technology and creative industries on the full spectrum of commercial and intellectual property matters, with a practical, solution‑focused approach.

During my training contract, I gained experience across our corporate, employment and immigration practice areas and completed a secondment at a global investment bank, enhancing my commercial insight and stakeholder management skills. Prior to my training contract with the firm, I worked as a paralegal at a multinational media and entertainment conglomerate, specialising in content distribution and advertising sponsorship agreements.

I am a member of the firm's Media & Entertainment and Advertising & Marketing sector groups and an active contributor to the firm's Race & Ethnicity and Interfaith DEI groups.

Experience

Commercial

  • Advising on, negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, client–agency agreements, terms of use, licences, collaboration and services agreements, and supply and distribution contracts
  • Conducting commercial and regulatory due diligence on corporate transactions and strategic partnerships
  • Advising on exploitation and acquisition of broadcast and content rights

Advertising & Marketing

  • Advising on legal and regulatory issues arising in advertising campaigns, promotions and influencer activity, and co‑ordinating advice across multiple jurisdictions
  • Responding effectively to complaints raised by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and providing copy‑clearance and risk assessments

Intellectual Property

  • Reviewing and advising on music industry agreements - such as recording and publishing contracts - in connection with catalogue sales and rights transactions
  • Advising on, negotiating and drafting music licences
  • Advising on brand protection and IP strategy
