About

I am an Associate in our Employment team. I advise organisations and individuals on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including day-to-day employee and organisational matters, investigations, high value litigation in the High Court and Employment Tribunal, arbitration, and discrimination issues in relation to the Equality Act.

I am passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, and I sit on the firm's LGBT+ group Lewis SilkOut, which runs internal and external events over the course of each year and works to support our LGBT+ colleagues.

I additionally have an interest in pro bono work, and sit on the firm's dedicated Pro Bono committee, where I have provided charities with employment advice and take part in the City Community Legal Advice Clinic.

Employment

  • Advising employers and employees on workplace policies, contracts and organisational issues
  • Navigating grievances, disciplinary proceedings and dismissals
  • Conducting litigation in the Employment Tribunal and the High Court
  • Training clients on compliance with various facets of employment law including the Equality Act

Investigations

  • Co-ordinating workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination and other forms of misconduct
